TED跟蹤證據(jù)的收集和觸摸DNA采集:
2010年,BioTX推出T.E.D. 跟蹤/觸摸證據(jù)裝置。這一**性的**申請(qǐng)中的收集裝置,可使犯罪現(xiàn)場(chǎng)調(diào)查收集到直接觸摸DNA和微量物證收集于準(zhǔn)備的小瓶。這個(gè)過程所耗費(fèi)的時(shí)間跟傳統(tǒng)的收集證據(jù)過程省去許多步驟。在實(shí)驗(yàn)室中,可以比以前的更快,更準(zhǔn)確地分析證據(jù)。
BioTX’s patent pending TED evidence collection system is designed to support a variety of evidence collection requirements from Touch DNA to dried blood, liquids, powders, and fibers. The TED system incorporates a hand held vacuum device with different end attachments specifically designed for the appropriate evidence to be collected. The evidence is collected in vials ready for lab processing to minimize manual handling. Touch DNA samples are captured from different surfaces using a Nylon tip attachment. The evidence surface is wetted with buffer. Cells are collected on the surface of the Nylon tip, while solubilized DNA is collected inside the tip. When the sample has been collected the tip is replaced into the provided DataMatrix labeled vial. Once the tip and vial are received at the lab they are processed using standard laboratory procedures. The tip requires no cutting and is inert to all extraction buffers.
